About N.W. Appliance Repairs

North West Appliance Repairs, to give us our full title, are basically what you see in our name, we repair domestic appliances although we do also repair some semi-commercial appliances as well. Our core business has been, and shall remain firmly in the domestic sector.

By domestic appliance (or whitegoods) we mean washing machines, refrigeration, cookers, etc.

Specialising in repairs is our forte and you will notice that although we offer a spares and appliance sales service this is carried out by business partners who are also specialists in their own field. We feel this is a guarantee of you, the customer, getting the best advice and service that can be offered to you and specialist attention.

NWAR - New Logo

NWAR was started in January of 1998 when the parent company Loudoun Group Services entered liquidation due to non-payment of debts owed to them.

The name N.W. was already in use as a “trading as” name for LGS at that time and was used for, in particular, Candy Group Service. Obviously the name was already held in high regard for service throughout West Central Scotland and since the name was not a registered company name when one ex-director of LGS broke away with two former employees we decided to keep the name.

The name was registered formally as a limited company at Companies House in Edinburgh on 23rd February 1998 under registration number 183258.

Since that time we have endeavoured to provide service that is above and beyond the services provided by our namesake and competitors and look forward to trading for many years to come.

Already we have advanced considerably over the first eighteen months of trading by introducing some high tech. solutions to the service industry problems, like our digital photography program, as well as computerised fax management and service call handling procedures.
